To Go or Not To Go, That is the Question...

As many of you know, David and I are to leave for our mission trip this weekend for Honduras. With all the events that are happening, it has been an up and down situation. It truly breaks my heart for these people. The group that we are to go help have been asking for it for a while now. It would also be the first time that they would have ever received help, which would be an amazing experience. Although, certain forces may keep us from doing this. I have mixed emotions as well right now, and I'm sure David is just searching for ways to get me anxiety meds. So if you will keep us and the Hondurans in your prayers over the next few days, we would really appreciate it.

We're drowning here!

Noticing that it was cloudy yesterday morning, I asked David if there was a chance of rain in our forecast. He informed me that there was a 30% chance for yesterday and today, but that we would probably not receive anything. On our way home from dinner last night, the city tornado siren came on and we could see things blowing across the neighborhood. Well 24 hours later, that 30% chance turned into us having a natural made lake in our backyard, and Daisy Mae is now coming out of hiding.

Our lake, I'm only hoping that David does not want a boat now to go with his lake!

I could not find Daisy a couple of times and would find her in two different places. One place she was hiding was under the covers of our bed. She's usually not allowed up there, but didn't seem to care when it came to the loud thunder. The second place she would hide was under the computer desk, and would only come out when I was sitting right next to her.

David's New Woman

I just so happened to come home today and find this in my driveway. David says that it magically appeared.

So he now has three women in his life, and is a little bit too overjoyed with this new one!

I wasn't so sure about this other woman...
but have decided to like it, because at least he's found a woman that is heavier than I am!

Daisy Mae, though, still doesn't know what to make of it!
